Pendleton Round-Up 2012

8/30 2012

It’s time to dust off your boots, put on your best hat and “saddle up” ol’ Dodge(r) and head on over to the Pendleton Round-Up in beautiful Pendleton, OR.   One of the most unique and colorful rodeos around; it defies an adequate description of all that it has to offer in this short blog.  Two parades (the Westward Ho parade is amazing), street vendors of every type, downtown stage with entertainment.  Area retailers and restaurants pulling out all the stops vying for your attention.  Let’s not forget the rodeo Wed thru Sat and slack on Monday and Tuesday.  Also, Happy Canyon and it’s pageantry.  Did I say concerts?  How about the Pendleton Underground Tour?   The Indian village is also an opportunity to step back in time.    So much to do, see, taste and experience in just one week.  A real family affair!  Rodeo starts Sept. 12-15, 2012 in Pendleton, OR.  Go to  for more information and schedule of events.
